TERREMOTO EMILIA ROMAGNA E LOMBARDIA
I think that the whole of Europe is aware of the most recent earthquake this morning in northern Italy, near Bologna. Certainly we are aware of the possibility of such happenings but it is always a shock when we see the permanance of our existence threatened in such a way.
We understand that local Scouts are already responding to assist – as we would expect good Scouts to do, and we commend them for their action to support the community.
Please be assured that Italy and its Scouts are in our thoughts at this time.
